New Colourway Revealed For Nike Tiempo

Last but by no means least, Nike have given a new Volt/Green colour update to the Tiempo legend IV, ending Nike's day of bold football boot releases with a bang. Out of all the new paint jobs splashed across Nike's four silo's, the Tiempo Legend IV is defintely the loudest and it's a refreshing change for a boot that's often more understated.
Gleaming like a resprayed classic car, the Volt/Green colourway on the Tiempo Legend IV is bright and brash. Only small flashes of green positioned on the heel and laces and a black Nike swoosh break up the mainly Volt boot. Loud maybe, a perfect antidote to a dreary autumn afternoon, absolutely.

Word on the rumour mill is that the long serving Nike Tiempo Legend IV is the next in line for a major overhaul, with a new edition most likely dropping next year. But despite these whispers the Tiempo legend IV still continues to be popular amongst the top flight with players such as Andres Pirlo, Kieran Gibbs and Gerard Pique all sticking with the silo.

The Tiempo Legend IV has a traditional look and feel featuring a combined super soft k-leather and Nike's revolutionary Kanga-Lite material. While the leather importantly surfaces the front of the boot for an excellent touch, the Kanga-Lite is used in the lateral mid-foot and heel area to offer additional support whilst improving water retention.

The quilted stitching not only looks great but also provides a superb level of touch and feel. Another popular feature found in the Nike Tiempo Legend IV is the 'FITSOLE' sock-liner. Previously used by Nike running shoes and customized for football, the new sock-liner is thinner which bring the foot lower to the ground.
