Barcelona have today unveiled their new Nike third shirt for the 2013/14 season. A simple yet stylish black jersey that embodies the style and craft of the La Liga title holders and pays a subtle tribute to the clubs Catalan heritage.
The predominately black shirt has vibrant yellow side stripes and a stylish modern crew neck. Carrying on from their Catalan flag coloured away shirt, fans can find a subtle nod to the history and culture of the club with red and yellow stripes of the Senyera, the Catalan flag, inside both the collar and the sleeves.

The new kit shorts are black with a thin vibrant yellow stripe on each side. The socks match the jersey and shorts and feature the FC Barcelona red and vibrant yellow stripe Senyera on the back. Although quite a minimalist affair, it's another job well done from the designers at Nike and caps off Barca's 2013/14 collection nicely. The shirt will predominately be worn in UCL away games where Messi et al will be looking to regain their status as champions of Europe, last claimed back 2011. Last night their campaign got off to a flyer with a 4-0 win over Dutch champions Ajax that included a Messi hat-trick.
